NEW DELHI: Gautam Gambhir (62) and Brendon McCullum (37) put on 99-run opening stand to help Kolkata Knight Riders post 158/6 against Chennai Super Kings in a crucial Indian Premier League match at the Eden Gardens.

A run out in the twelfth over turned the tide of the match as Kolkata lost five wickets in next seven overs and with it the momentum of the run charge.
In the end, late charge by Debabrata Das (19 not out off 10 balls) make sure that the hosts set a competitive target for the defending champions. Das hit a six and two fours in his late blast.
Pacer Ben Hilfenhaus struck in the final over to dismiss Laxmi Ratan Shukla (9) and continued the Chennai fightback.
